How do I know a property is genuine?

Before you pay anything, I share the title document and survey for the property and explain what each one means. You can also have your own lawyer review them. If a property can't be verified, I won't present it to you.

What do C of O and Governor's Consent mean?

A Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) is the government's grant of the right to occupy land. Governor's Consent is the approval given when that right is transferred from one owner to another. Both are strong titles in Lagos. I'll explain exactly which one applies to any property you're considering.

Who do I pay?

Always the developer's or vendor's verified company account, and you get an official receipt. I will never ask you to pay into a personal account.

Can I buy if I live outside Nigeria?

Yes. I arrange live video inspections, share documents digitally and keep you updated on WhatsApp in your time zone, from your first enquiry until you have your documents.

Are there payment plans?

Many developments, especially off-plan homes and land, offer instalment plans from 6 to 24 months. Each listing shows its payment terms, and I can find options that fit your budget.
